On Saturday, July 24, 2021, the Rotary Club of Nairobi Madaraka partnered with the Rotary Club of Embu Nouvelle IF in undertaking the second phase of the school blackboard painting and tree planting project. During phase one, we were able to successfully paint all the blackboards at Kimangaru Primary School in Embu County. Phase two involved painting planting over 120 trees in Kimangaru and J. Mwonge Primary Schools, and painting blackboards at J. Mwonge Primary School. The team, who were also joined by the Rotary Club of Embu and Rotaract Club of Embu, also handed over school stationery to the two schools.
